Josh Nickerson is a cartoonist and illustrator currently living in the American south-east. He has created several long running comic series, including the slice-of-life gag comic Furballs, and the serial romantic comedy Melancholy. His work has appeared in publications such as Flagpole Magazine and Razorcake, as well as anthologies like Bezoar and Nothing Is Stranger Than Fiction.

Josh has shown an interest in cartooning since he was a toddler, and became obsessed with newspaper strips, comic books, and animated television programming. He began creating his own comic strips in elementary school, and often found himself in trouble for doodling in the margins of his notebook during class. He continued to draw comics through school, eventually having his comics featured in his high school and college newspapers. After graduating college with a bachelor's degree in graphic design, Josh found work in his field, while still creating new comics for both local publications and for publication on the internet and social media.

When not working on his comics or at his day job, Josh can be found hanging out with friends, exploring the great outdoors, playing video games, and attempting to be the Greatest Uncle In The World to his niece and nephew.
